USING A DOWSING PENDULUM
Hold the chain of the pendulum about 2.5cm (1”) from the end between your thumb and forefinger, in the hand you normally write with.
Ask the pendulum (either silently or out loud) to show you the direction it moves in for a positive or “yes” answer, wait until the pendulum begins to move. It may move in a clockwise, anti-clockwise or backwards and forwards direction. Do not ask any other questions at this point.
Stop the pendulum moving, then, ask it to show you the direction for a negative or “no” answer. The pendulum will then move in a different way to the direction for a “yes” answer.
Please be patient when you first begin to use a dowsing pendulum it can take up to 2-3 minutes for the pendulum to start moving naturally. Please don’t try to influence the movement in any way, as this will affect future results.
If the pendulum doesn’t move try using your other hand. The yes/no directions vary from person to person, so does the amount of movement.
When you use your pendulum for the first week or so always repeat the yes/no direction questions first, to double check the consistency of the directions, before asking the questions you want answers to.
Please remember pendulums do not predict the future, they can only answer questions relating to the past or present and give yes/no answers. Bear this in mind when you phrase your question, be specific about what it is you want to know.
If when you have asked a question the if movement of the pendulum is not consistent with your usual yes/no directions, it generally means the answer to that question will not be revealed at that time.
The answers to your questions will be relevant to that moment in time, it does not mean the answers are set in stone, things do change.
For example - you may ask if a lost item is in a certain place and receive a yes answer, only to discover that when you return to that place the item is not there, as someone else has moved it to another place, yet at the time you asked your question the answer you received was accurate.
Remember practise will improve your results, but pendulums should never be used for a definitive medical diagnosis, always seek professional medical help.
